Why we're doing this
We think there's a fundamental problem in communication between teachers, students and parents. We're trying to fix that problem.
How it began: The AH-HA Moment
remind101 began at Michigan State University when Brett became overwhelmed and unorganized with his semester workload. The "AH-HA" moment came when he received a text message. Knowing students text message and email so often, what if a program could send reminders to students before their assignments are due? In September 2009, brothers Brett and David Kopf decided to start remind101.
